All personal information handled by the SNU Campus Town Project Center is collected, retained, and processed based on relevant laws such as the 「Personal Information Protection Act」 or with the consent of the information subject.
In accordance with the 「Personal Information Protection Act」, Seoul National University has the following processing policies to protect users’ personal information and rights and to smoothly handle user complaints related to personal information, and if revised, it will be notified through the website.
< Purpose >
When applying for a program operated by the SNU Campus Town Project Center, personal information is requested for the purpose of application and progress information such as review of application qualifications, selection evaluation, contract and agreement signing, business operation, and follow-up management. Processing Personal information is not used for any other purpose, and prior consent will be sought if the purpose of use is changed.
< Collection and Management of Personally Identifiable Information >
In principle, the personal information of the applicant is destroyed immediately after the purpose of processing the personal information is achieved. However, if it is necessary to preserve the user’s personal information by other laws, the provisions of the law shall be followed.
- Collection items: Name, phone number, email address, etc. written in the application form
- Retention and use period of personal information: up to 5 years from the date of application

The SNU Campus Town Project Center has a dedicated organization that manages and supervises related projects and participating organizations to efficiently operate support projects. Personal information collected accordingly will be provided to the following organizations.
- Dedicated Organization: Seoul Metropolitan Government
- Participating Organization: Gwanak-gu Office, Seoul National University, SNU OSCAR Campus Town Project Center
< Right to refuse consent to the collection of personal information >
Applicants have the right to refuse consent to collection of personal information. However, please note that if you refuse to collect personal information, the application for the program will not be completed as it is impossible to review and guide the application for the SNU Campus Town Project Center’s operation programs.
< Measures to ensure the safety of personal information >
In accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the SNU OSCAR Campus Town Project Center is taking technical/administrative and physical measures necessary to secure stability as follows.
- Minimization and training of personnel handling personal information: We are implementing measures to manage personal information by designating and minimizing staff handling personal information.
- Regular self-audit: We conduct self-audit on a regular basis (once every six months) to ensure the stability of handling personal information
